Big Boy Radio

I always thought Big Boy was a bastion of conservatism, but after hearing the music they played today, I may have to change my opinion. When I walked in the door, "Hammer and a Nail" by Indigo Girls was playing; throughout the course of breakfast, I also heard "I Drove All Night" by Celine Dion, "Manic Monday" by the Bangles, and "Ordinary World" by Duran Duran. Way to go, Big Boy!

Celine Dion's cover of "I Drove All Night" is a travesty. Cindi Lauper's original version is a maelstrom of lust and velocity. If you hold a mirror up to Celine Dion's version, it would cast no reflection.

I agree - but it was all those songs in that setting taken as a whole that surprised me, especially Indigo Girls - but Nate says that Big Boy kind of looks like a butch lesbian.

I feel like, despite our established meant-to-be-friends fate by that time, we took a step forward in our relationship at that smoky Interlochen breakfast joint when I learned your appreciation for the B+G.
