Face/Off

I know I'm not the only one who's been thinking about Nic Cage and Johnny T. since we found about this face transplant thing. Remember this movie? I loved this movie. I think I've seen it about six times.

Here are some of my favorite quotes from Face/Off:
"It's like looking in a mirror. Only... not."

"If I were to send you flowers, where would I... no, let me rephrase that. If I were to let you suck my tongue... would you be grateful?"

And my favorite of favorites: "I want to take his face... off."

Oooh, I love this movie!

I love that not only do they trade faces, but suddenly, they have the same body type as well.

"You know what your problem is, Shawn? You're not having any fun, Shawn." And who could forget, "I could eat a peach all day." Also, this is a John Woo film, so you KNOW there are gonna be dudes flying sideways in the air in slo-mo, with a 9mm blazing in each hand as doves fly overhead. In a church. With Gina Gershon.

However, for sheer Nic Cage quotability, you can't beat the ol' Bruckheimer 1-2 of "Con Air" and "The Rock." Wow. It's like they were anticipating an "MST3K" type of show, only for action movies, so they started stockpiling material.

Mmm, this Pop Tart is extra good!

One other great thing about Face/Off: Daddy's home! And look what he brought you: a new little brother! With nodes on his vocal chords! (Seriously, that kid sounded like he'd just eaten a martini glass.)

Funny, I could have seen all the previews in the world for this and had people say good or bad things about it. Never seen it, but your post actually makes me wanna see it!

I think it's actually "I could eat a peach for hours."
Also, this movie has a cast of thousands: James Denton! CCH Pounder! Alessandro Nivola, looking creepy as Nicolas Cage's brother! Joan Allen! I love this movie. Everyone who hasn't seen it should.

Why get a face lift, when you can get a face off?
