101 Things Removed from the Human Body

Last night, I happened upon 101 Things Removed from the Human Body, on The Learning Channel. Whoo boy, that show was somethin' else. I joined in on about #74, rebar through a guy's head. Then it was on to rectal foreign objects, with a few forays into femoral and abdominal injuries. The show culminated with everyone's favorite foreign object, fetus in fetu. If you're interested in finding out more, you're a brave soul - and you can look it up online for yourself.

101 Things was one of the most fascinating and disturbing things I've ever seen. The crazy thing is, all of the people featured survived their injuries, some of which were horrifying. I guess humans are capable of withstanding great pain and grievous injury and coming out on top... but try telling that to the guy who doesn't go frog-gigging anymore.

101 Things Removed from the Human Body - B- (like I said, fascinating and disturbing)

Oh, that's when you take this five-pronged spike (the gig?) on a pole and go out into the swamp at night and jack up some frogs. The guy tripped... it wasn't pretty.
