Crikey.

I can't believe that someone said that Steve Irwin's death was "untimely." I also can't believe that he didn't die a long time ago, eaten by some vicious creature. Not knowing him, I think this is the way he would have wanted to go - stung in the heart by a stingray while filming a special called "Ocean's Deadliest." We'll miss you, Steve.

Steve Irwin - B- (you know, I never really loved him, but he sure filled a naturific niche, didn't he?)

The scars on his hand, wrist, and by his eye in the picture also make me wonder how he didn't die earlier. It is sad though. Who would have thought a sting ray was actually able to puncture your heart. What are the odds?

I was never really super attached to this guy, but I do feel sad anyway. I heard the stingray that did it was HUGE. It was like, 10 times the size of a regular one. I guess if you're "getting offed" by a stingray, you want it to be the biggest one out there.

I give your blog an "A" rating, bc you caught me up on current events while I was offline and without TV.

Thanks for posting this.

I liked Steve, so I'm sad. But, I have to say, he's probably had so many close calls that he had it coming... Still sad, though.
