Your Song

My brother called me last night, all crunked up on Spanish wine, wanting to know if there was a special song his wedding DJ could play for me and Nate. Isn't that sweet? I don't know if Golddigger by Kanye West is appropriate for a wedding, but it was very thoughtful of Pat and Natalie to think of us. Ha!

What's your song?

Wedding Songs - B+ (they're all wonderful, but some are cheesy, and you know it!)

I like to hear Stand by REM at weddings. I got an invite once where you were asked to list a song you want to hear, and they played a lot of the requests...

Jesse's Girl cause you know at least one person at every wedding is thinking that about the bride. I like to let them know it's okay, even though it isn't. I didn't know Pat was getting married. You move away, and I miss out on all the gossip. I'm sure my invite will be coming in the mail soon though.

my wedding song was the shit and you cant deny it! Dancing lessons-Sinead O'conner. But obviously, having a song that is the shit produces no good luck what so ever.

We didn't play music at our wedding reception (we just ate and mingled w/ people we never get to see!), but we left the chapel to "tonight, tonight" by SP and 'our song' is "Nothing Even Matters" by Lauryn Hill and D'Angelo. :)
