I always thought Big Boy was a bastion of conservatism, but after hearing the music they played today, I may have to change my opinion. When I walked in the door, "Hammer and a Nail" by Indigo Girls was playing; throughout the course of breakfast, I also heard "I Drove All Night" by Celine Dion, "Manic Monday" by the Bangles, and "Ordinary World" by Duran Duran. Celine Dion's cover of "I Drove All Night" is a travesty. Cindi Lauper's original version is a maelstrom of lust and velocity. If you hold a mirror up to Celine Dion's version, it would cast no reflection.
I agree - but it was all those songs in that setting taken as a whole that surprised me, especially Indigo Girls - but Nate says that Big Boy kind of looks like a butch lesbian.

I feel like, despite our established meant-to-be-friends fate by that time, we took a step forward in our relationship at that smoky Interlochen breakfast joint when I learned your appreciation for the B+G.
I HEART BISCUITS AND GRAVY! I even stayed at a hotel once that had it as its continental breakfast....i was in shock!
