I'm not saying that Daniel Craig is unattractive - I just always think of James Bond as being a brunette, and more dashing. Craig looks sort of haggard.
My choice for the new 007 - Clive Owen. That man is DREAMY.
The producers wanted to use someone of limited notoriety, so that obviously factored into their decision to go with Daniel Craig. I haven't seen "Layer Cake," but he was really good in a smaller role in "Road to Perdition." I was also on the Clive Owen bandwagon, though he always seemed a little rough-hewn. And, sorry Paultoes, but there will NEVER be a gay James Bond. It would be like casting Mel Gibson to play Liberace.
i don't see the comparison... "the passion of the liberace." yeah, what if liberace played jesus? how avant garde and thought provoking... or hilary duff as rosa parks? if a black man can become a white woman, well then... am i alone here, is anyone riding my train?

I was a part of the Hugh Jackman for Bond fanclub...

Daniel Craig as James Bond and Sean Connery as his dad. Somehow that sounds vaguely familiar.
Nobody rides your train Paul.
