Winston Churchill once said "Never, ever ever give up." Actually, he didn't - that's one of the most misquoted quotes in history. He actually said "never give in," but the sentiment's the same. Don't give up on me. I'm in the middle of a 58-hour work week, which leaves with no time to do anything worth writing about. So hang in there. I'll be back.

Patrick is mostly correct. Of course it was Jim Valvano, his body wasting away from Cancer who announced at the inaugural ESPY Awards that the motto of the V Foundation would be, "Don't give up. Don't ever give up". But we will remember him for running out on the court looking for someone to hug after his 1983 North Carolina State Wolfpack beat Houston.
Always checking back in to see what witty words you have ...
