My poor little car Beyonce has to get a new water pump and timing belt. This makes me very sad. For one thing, I love my car - she's been through a lot, like some long road trips and once a tree fell on her, but she keeps on truckin'. Also, I totally can't afford to pay for major car repairs right now, but of course I will be paying for them so I can get my car back. Finally, Nate and I don't do so great as a one-car family. We both have extracurricular activities and jobs that take place at almost the same time, but not close enough to be convenient for one person to drop off the other person. It's going to be a little messy and I'm pissed off.Beyonce's ailments - D
Oh no! Poor Beyonce. :( She's quite a trooper, that damn tree. ::shakes fist menacingly:: Plus, Beyonce's gotta truck it on out here to get me. :) But I think she knows the way home. :P

ReplyDeleteI hear ya. My car...our car. We're down to the one between us, just got out of the shop in Dec. We are looking to trade in, but all I really want is another Rav. hmmm, I really like not having a car payment.
ReplyDeleteI love that you named your car Beyonce. There was a Saved by the Bell episode where they needed a new water pump for Lisa's mom's Mercedes. It was the drinking and driving episode.
ReplyDeleteMy car in high school was named Bump n' Grind. It lit'rally grinded when the turning radius got too tight. And she was a bumpy. I was all what, jelous? Ain't nothin' wrong with a little bump n' grind!

ReplyDeleteOh, the only car that I had by myself, it's name was "Spewey". I dubbed it Spewey after projectile vomiting in it while driving home from my junior homecoming. I had 2 busch beers, made out with a girl and was smoking a menthol when i puked. I dont know which caused it.
